I was asked to work on a website redeisgn for the Asian American Resource Workshop. Their existing website was somewhat drab and the information was scattered about. I was asked to rectify the information architecture and make the site look "warmer".

In doing so, I first changed the color scheme to have brighter and friendlier colors. Next I segmented all the information by sections and placed them inside their own colored boxes so that it would be easier to locate visually. I also implemented a non-traditional right-sided menu bar system.

My client really liked the right-sided menu. They felt it was very stylish and that it opened up a lot more room for the actual content of the website.

Some of the tools used for this project: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, TextPad, WS-FTP.
