Tientao.com is the online web portfolio of Boston-based web designer and developer, Jonathan Ng. I originally launched TienTao Studios as a web design company in 1996. Since its inception in the mid-1990s, it has gone through a multitude of changes. From a web design firm; to a contract-for-hire site; to an online portfolio website in its current incarnation.

Tientao.com now serves as a supplement to my resume and an online showcase of my work. So if you are an employer and see anything you like, feel free to contact me with your projects/opportunities. I am currently working on a few projects but always willing to entertain offers for more work.

I have worked in the New England Advertising and Communications field since 1992 at various agencies. I have done internships in research and marketing departments. I have worked in IT departments in the capacity of network and system administrators. And I have worked as freelance contractor for web and online media projects doing graphic design, website programming and some multimedia. Having completed my undergraduate degree with a B.A. in Psychology, most of my technical skills have all been self-taught. So I consider myself a very self-motivated individual with a propensity to always want to learn which is very beneficial in this always changing world of technology and electronic media.
